How it works

Add your PDF. This page starts with the 100 KB target selected; 200 KB, 1 MB and 2 MB are in the same box.
The tool tries 150 DPI first, then lower resolutions, and stops as soon as the file is under the target. Choosing a target sets the resolution automatically.
If the target cannot be reached, you get the smallest result, with a note saying so.

Limits

Pages become JPEG images: selectable text, links, forms and signatures are lost.
Text-heavy files can come out larger than the original; the tool says so when that happens.
Up to 30 MiB and 100 pages per file.
