About this tool
Set a maximum width and height, choose the output format and quality, and see each image before and after with its new file size. This tool works on images, not on PDF files.
How does resizing work?
Images are scaled down to fit the maximum width and height you enter, 1920 by 1920 pixels by default. The aspect ratio is kept and images are never enlarged.
What does the quality setting do?
It applies to JPG and WebP output, from 1 to 100. PNG is lossless, so its quality does not change. To make a PNG smaller, lower the dimensions or switch to JPG or WebP.
What if the new file is bigger?
The result list shows a warning when an output is not smaller than the original. Lower the dimensions or the quality and run it again.
Are the pictures uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. The page can only make requests back to this site, and the site has no upload endpoint. You can confirm it in your browser's network panel.
Can I do many at once?
Yes, up to 30 images and 200 MiB per batch. Several results are downloaded together in one ZIP.
